Carla is a fantastic teacher! She tailors each class to her student's ability and level, which means you're always learning and moving forward. She also teaches based on your best learning style and goals. For example, I really wanted to focus on conversational Spanish (since I live in Colombia), so she dedicated a large portion of each class to just having a normal conversation with me, always pushing me just beyond my current level of ability.

But the best part of her classes are how much fun they are. She stays structured if that's what you want, but it's more fun to just let her feel you out and come up with a curriculum that's specifically for you, using her own style. So for me... going to class just felt like I was going to hang out with a friend for an hour. I definitely think that how much you learn is a function of how fun the classes are.
