About Brooke

I am a musical theatre student who is trying to afford college fees! I have trained in theatre since I was 4 and up till now I train in the heart of the west end of london. I made my west end debut in December and also now have a registered agent. I have always been very passionate for acting and believe I am an extremely good teacher for it. I can give critical feedback whilst also making lessons a lot of fun!

About the lesson

I have learnt from many years in this industry that sitting down learning isn’t the way to learn this trade! It’s like being an athlete you can learn about every muscle in your body but it’s not going to help you perform!

My teaching method is before the lesson let me know what you would like to work on for example monologue, improv, techniques etc and I will tailor a lesson around that for younger children I would involve games and fun learning techniques to make the most out of your child’s lesson! They will always be upbeat with warm ups and action throughout!

I am nearly 16 myself which I know is young for a tutor however I can ensure your child will have an amazing time over zoom and I know what interests younger children as I’ve tutored 8 myself through the last year and they have gone into perform in Matilda west end!

I can also provide monologues, audition material and acting through song lessons upon request! For stand up comedy I would suggest students be 7+ and to teach this I would use a series of comedy techniques to help your child understand the meaning of comedy and the different ways it has adapted through time. None of my lessons are just going to be sitting they will be very active to engage your child as much as possible.

I can teach musical theatre singing lessons for younger children but please have a vocal track ready in advance. For my dance technique would be to teach your child a dance routine from a west end musical, for younger students it’s Lion King and for older students it’s Hairspray. I train in ballroom and jazz myself and understand how hard dance can be but I also provide my students with a series of exercises and stretches to improve flexibility. A warm up and cool down is included in the hour.

I can do a mixture of subject in an hour if you would like me to spend 20 minutes on singing, dancing and acting that is possible! All lessons will be tailored to you!
