About Safa
I'm an enthusiastic A-Level student going to a grammar school who genuinely enjoys maths and helping other students learn. I am an approachable, friendly and confident person and I always aim to make lessons enjoyable and productive. I know that everyone learns differently, so I take the time to explain concepts in a way that makes sense to each student.
Outside of school, I have a love for animals and have 2 cats of my own. Alongside studies, I volunteer at a rabbit rescue and horse stables for disabled children weekly and play tennis!
Having achieved grade 9s in maths at GCSE and studying Further Maths at a Level 2 Qualification, I have a solid understanding of maths beyond the KS3/4 curriculum and know the tips and tricks needed to succeed in your child's studies. I'm passionate about building confidence as well as improving grades, and I love seeing my students become more confident in their maths skills over time.
Whether it's homework support, exam preparation, or strengthening core maths skills, I'm committed to helping all my students feel confident in school in Maths, ready to ace anything ahead!

My approach to tutoring is by helping my students with any weaknesses they find they have in Maths. From trigonometry to algebra, I believe that having a deep understanding of the topic will help you approach any problems in exams. As your child's tutor, I will
1) Create a welcoming and honest environment for any questions or queries about anything they're confused about.
2) Help your child create an understanding of the topics they are unaware of, using my knowledge of techniques and tricks that can ease the burden of tricky concepts
3) Ensure your child tries a variety of different questions in the same topic, whether that be in class or as homework.
4) Set homework when appropriate to aid the students and ensure they partake in active recall. I will mark this and go through any problems with them, ensuring they feel on top of their studies.
