About Aria
I am a violin tutor with over 6 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Composition (Violin Focus), passionate about pushing the violin into contemporary styles. I teach Jazz, Rock, Hip-Hop Strings, and World Music. My lessons focus on improvisation, creative use of looping pedals, and live performance techniques.
Students learn to write solos, reinterpret popular songs, and experiment with musical textures. I help learners combine classical technique with modern sound design. Beginners and advanced players are encouraged to explore their unique voice.
Lessons include performance, composition, and technology-based experimentation. Students gain skills in layering loops and creating expressive arrangements. Each session inspires creativity, confidence, and musical innovation. Together, we expand the violin’s possibilities beyond tradition.

My violin teaching method is centered on sight-reading fluency and musical confidence. I focus on ledger lines, complex rhythms, and multi-part scores. Lessons develop visual-to-finger coordination for fast and accurate reading.
Students work on exercises that improve note recognition, pattern understanding, and rhythm accuracy. I include real music to reinforce learning and make lessons engaging. Playing new pieces becomes quicker and more natural.
I support students performing in musicals, worship teams, or ensembles. Beginners strengthen their foundations, and advanced players refine speed and accuracy. Each lesson includes constructive feedback and focused practice.
Students gain independence, confidence, and the ability to sight-read new pieces instantly. I guide them to play smoothly and accurately. Together, we make reading music an enjoyable and effortless skill.
