  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

    I had been a feeble boy during my high school which made me vulnerable to being bullied. Lately, I started working out along with my studies. That was the game changer for me. I could see myself getting stronger. Everyone started praising me. It boosted my confidence and gradually fitness and workout became an integral part of my life. Later, I chose to make my passion my profession too. And here I am.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

    My passion is my sole motivation to choose this. My hunger to achieve my goals keeps me motivated. Yet there are luminary figures like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Muhammed Ali whom I adore and follow. It keeps me galvanized to do better and better.
  • How does your work help society?

    "A healthy mind resides in a healthy body." fitness training does the same. It keeps one's mind and body sound. Also, I might not have brought a major change in society but my work has changed the mindsets of many. People have understood the need of the hour is to maintain good health along with good wealth. Also, It keeps one at a healthy distance from alcohol and smoking. Makes people "the society" more responsible and disciplined towards everything.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

    "A good education can change anyone. A good teacher can change everything." Indeed my teachers are my role models. Focus, Commitment, Discipline, and Hard work are the key ingredients that they inculcated through their teachings. Well surely being a fitness trainer is more than just fitness and training techniques. And that extra pinch of awesomeness towards your work can be learnt from your teachers itself.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

    Anything you do in your free time that brings peace and happiness to you is a hobby. MotoBike rides and Mountains bring that happiness to me. I love to ride in the mountains. It's very serene to me. Recently I rode to Narkanda and witnessed the first snowfall of my life. I had just lived my dream. My Motorbike and mountain make me go crazy.
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

    2020 had been a catastrophic year for me. Early in 2020, I was diagnosed with Disc Bulge in L4 & L5. I had to give up my workout and sit back as I couldn't even walk, yet I was not disheartened. I knew time shall heal everything. Months of medication and consulting different orthopedic doctors had no results. Lately, my body started losing shape, this has made me tense. Doctors suggested to undergo surgery that would heal the bulge but I must quit my workout for it. I was broken. Somehow I managed to find the QI spine center where they worked on muscle strengthening. After a long wait, I could walk, bend and do other basic things. A year later I could start my life again in the gym. I could go for training. Ultimately I would say Life brings challenges, if you fear them you lose. Be a fighter and win life.
