About Charlie
Hello everyone! My name is Charlie, I am a 21-year old student at the University of Reading studying Ecological Survey Skills as I love animals. I am enthusiastic and love to help younger students with their studies, particularly Biology and Chemistry. I am keen to teach anyone at whatever pace they like and at whatever topics they like. I hope to give you all newfound confidence in science as I know it can be difficult. We can take the lessons slowly and if you do not fully grasp a concept, you can be honest with me and we can keep going at that topic until you feel more confident and can answer any question relating to the topic!

My lessons will be online. I will use powerpoints to teach the subjects, splitting each into multiple 15-20 minute sections with short rest breaks in between each section. I will set mini-quizzes at the end of the lesson to test what the student has learned and then after 5 consecutive lessons, I will set questions on material covered in the 5 preceding lessons at the end of the last one. Each lesson can be 1 to 2 hours in length depending on the need or concentration of the student, (and myself!).
I have been a private tutor for five years and have obtain a 9, 8 and 7 in GCSE Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics respectively and an A in A level Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics.
I am a 21 year old postgraduate student at the University of Reading, studying Ecological Survey Skills after graduating with a 2:1 in a BSc in Zoology at the same University. I have been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and hope to prove to students that there is nothing to stop them from getting good grades if they put their mind to it and believe in themselves!
