But don't take our word for it! Be sure to visit our website and watch our video of current and former students sharing why they think we're awesome! Here's just a few:

“Best piano teacher ever? It's possible. EB is a genuinely wonderful human being, and a fantastic pianist in his own right, but what makes the Triumverate of Awesomeness is the way he interacts with young people learning the instrument. Patience, humor, rapport, inspiration, he's got it in spades. Friends, if I could rewind a couple of decades and EB could somehow magically stay put, I'd want him as my piano teacher in a heartbeat.” - Will

“We have been with EB for 5 years going on six now and we have loved the experience every bit of the way. EB taught our daughter that learning and playing the piano is fun and a great way to express yourself. He’s inspired her to keep playing by enjoying music theory and learning the fundamentals. He is such a devoted teacher and we highly recommend giving him a try!” - Rita

“EB taught me many years ago, and beyond being just an amazing person, he truly inspired me to continue on a journey even long after we stopped practicing together. Many aspects of my musical growth can be traced back to something he said to me in one of my lessons, even if it didn't fully hit me until a decade later.” -James

“Our family has been fans of EB for YEARS! Our daughter has been taking lessons for just shy of a year with EB after taking a pause from piano to play clarinet with school. Her comprehension and technique have both skyrocketed! EB's enthusiasm and love of music CAN NOT be hidden, nor can his exceptional talent and patience with his students!” - Jennifer

There's never been a better time to learn how to play piano. Schedule your free consult now, and start creating the music you love! -eb

We make sure EBLessons is a great fit for you before you ever pay a dime.  All students begin with a free initial consult.  We ask what your goals are, walk you through a typical lesson and weekly practice routine, and answer any questions you may have.  If we think you could be served better with a different teacher, we'll tell you!  If we think it's a fit, we get you on the schedule and get ready to start creating your favorite music!

EB has worked with students age 6-60+!

- We use a core method that teaches you the fundamentals of playing the piano in virtually any style, then help you tailor those fundamentals for almost any kind of application imaginable:
-Jazz
- Pop
- Rock
- Worship
- Classical
- Blues
-Disney
- Broadway
- Songwriting
- Recording/Audio Production
... and the list goes on!!!

Great question! Make sure to describe the kind of music you'd like to play and ask, directly:
a) if the teacher knows how to both perform and teach that kind of music

b) what methods the teacher uses to teach (play by ear, written notation, lead sheet, chord chart? NOTE: we can and do use all of those methods depending on the student and style)
