About Sky

I am a London-based cellist and UCL student with ABRSM Grade 8 certification (achieved in 2019), extensive orchestral leadership experience, and a passion for helping others discover the cello. I can teach in both English and Cantonese.

My musical background includes:

- Former Co-principal Cellist, MYOHK Symphony Orchestra (2 years)
- Former Principal Cellist, Senior School Orchestra (5 years)
- Current Reserve Cellist, UCL Symphony Orchestra
- ABRSM Grade 8 Cello, achieved in 2019
- Experience studying and performing advanced repertoire at LTCL diploma level

Alongside performing, I have experience introducing complete beginners to the cello, leading orchestral sectional rehearsals, and coaching fellow musicians on technique, dynamics and musical interpretation.

Having worked with musicians of different abilities, I understand the importance of explaining technical concepts clearly and adapting teaching methods to individual needs.

My aim is to make learning the cello accessible, enjoyable and rewarding while helping students establish the foundations needed for long-term musical development.
