About Alice

Hi! I am Alice, I have been playing the piano for 10 years. I have passed ABRSM grade 8 performance and ABRSM grade 5 music theory, and currently preparing for ARSM Diploma. I am a very patient person, while I do help you maintain performance accuracy, I also value the flow of how you play, and if you enjoy what you are doing. I value music as a big part of my life. I love the piano, and am thrilled to teach you this instrument I love. I hope you are excited too!

About the lesson

My lessons are open to beginner to intermediate students of all ages :)

I will adjust the learning pace and music to play based on your skills! I would love to share my understanding of music and the many useful techniques that can make your music sound even more elegant. I will also introduce music theory knowledge based on the level of pieces you are playing, to make harder pieces easier to tackle.

A typical lesson would involve warming up with scales, playing music pieces of your preference, learning tips to polish your performance, and learning music theory.

My goal is for you to enjoy music like I do, and build strong foundations to master difficult piano pieces!

Perfect! I highly recommend Alice as a piano teacher because she greatly improved my piano playing within our first two lessons. She urged me to use a metronome to better effect, improved my fingering technique, and encouraged me to learn more difficult pieces. My sight reading skills improved as a result and her encouragement boosted my confidence and I practiced more often as a result. Her positive reinforcement and support helped me to make rapid gains. She was very attentive during our lessons and picked up quickly on ways to improve my playing and practice.
