About Wendy
As a BBA Accounting graduate currently pursuing my CPA, I have developed a strong foundation in both math and accounting, along with the discipline and attention to detail required to master complex concepts. I understand how challenging these subjects can feel, especially when they are not explained clearly, which is why I focus on making every concept approachable and logical.
I take my role as a tutor seriously and aim to create a supportive, professional, and results-driven environment for every student. I am reliable, prepared for each session, and committed to helping students not only improve their grades but also build lasting confidence in their abilities.

I take a very structured but practical approach to tutoring because I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed by concepts that don’t initially make sense. As a BBA Accounting graduate currently pursuing my CPA, I focus on breaking topics down into simple, logical steps rather than memorization.
A typical lesson starts with a quick check-in to see what you already understand, followed by a clear explanation of the concept using real-world examples. From there, we work through practice problems together, and I guide you through the “why” behind each step so you can apply it on your own. I also like to incorporate repetition and small checkpoints to make sure everything actually sticks.
What sets me apart is that I don’t just teach you how to get the answer — I teach you how to think through problems. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling more confident and independent, not reliant on me long-term.
My lessons are best suited for middle school, high school, and early college students who need help with math or accounting, especially those who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or like things just aren’t “clicking.” I’m patient, supportive, and focused on helping you build both understanding and confidence.
