About Amanda
Hello! My name is Amanda, and I am a qualified and dedicated tutor with a Bachelor of Education Degree (FET Phase), specializing in Accounting, Business Studies, and Economics. I am passionate about helping students succeed and believe that every learner can thrive with the right guidance and support. I have experience tutoring high school learners from Grade 10 to 12, and I’m confident in my ability to explain Accounting concepts in a way that is clear, practical, and easy to understand. My lessons are CAPS-aligned, and I focus on building a strong foundation in both theory and application to help students prepare effectively for assessments and final exams. What makes me unique is my patience, bilingual teaching ability (isiZulu and English), and my commitment to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I take time to understand each learner’s strengths and challenges, and I adjust my teaching style to suit their individual needs. As a passionate and patient tutor, I focus on helping students truly understand Accounting concepts rather than just memorizing them. My teaching approach is interactive, learner-centred, and aligned with the CAPS curriculum, ensuring students are well-prepared for tests, assignments, and final exams. I break down complex topics into simple, manageable steps and use real-life examples to help learners relate to the content.
I am fluent in both English and isiZulu, and I can teach comfortably in either language, depending on the learner’s preference. This helps create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, especially for learners who may feel more confident learning in their home language.
