About Ruth
Hi I'm Ruth, British born singer now living in London.
I've been involved in the performing arts industry for over fifteen years, first privately training as a singer and performing in multiple national competitions before switching to study BA (Hons) Acting at the prestigious Arts University Bournemouth.
I graduated with first class honours and received my LCM Grade 8 singing qualification in 2017 (with a mark of 98%!)
My teaching is underpinned by ABRSM Grade 5 Music Theory and A-level Music.

I am here to encourage your journey to become an amazing singer. I adjust my teaching style to suit you, the individual; whether having years of experience or none at all, and depending on what you want to learn - I can tackle any song!
My approach is structured and methodical, planned for efficiency so you can get the most out of your lesson. If you're struggling with technique, you're in safe hands - I will ensure your voice is safeguarded with appropriate tips and tricks, from warm-ups to breathwork and everything in between.
I especially teach one very important and yet often neglected aspect of singing: conviction. Through my teaching, as you learn how to sing a particular song, you will also learn how to make the song come alive, regardless of artist or genre. Because of this, I help bring out the best in each and every singer.
You may choose to take your lessons in either half-hourly or hourly slots.
