About Muhammad
Hello, and welcome! My name is Muhammad, and I am an accounting tutor with more than five years of combined tutoring and teaching experience. I have completed all seven FIA papers and ACCA papers F1 to F9, and I hold the ACCA Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business. Having worked through the same professional syllabus and exam standards that many of my students face, I know exactly what it takes to succeed, and I bring that first-hand experience into every lesson.
I believe accounting becomes far less intimidating once it is explained clearly. My approach is to build a strong understanding of the "why" behind each concept, then turn that understanding into confident, exam-ready technique. I am patient, well-prepared, and committed to giving each student my full attention, and I never rush through material or leave questions unanswered.

I teach accounting by building understanding first, then speed. Every topic starts with the "why" (what the numbers tell a business), followed by a worked example, then guided practice, and finally independent questions.
- I use:
Step-by-step worked examples, so you see the reasoning behind each entry, not just the answer
Visual tools such as T-accounts, flowcharts, and color-coded statements
Real-world scenarios to make debits, credits, and adjustments intuitive
Past-paper practice under timed conditions, with detailed feedback on every mistake
Active recall and spaced repetition with short quizzes and flashcards for formulas, standards, and definitions
- A typical lesson plan (60 minutes)
Check-in and review (10 min): go over homework and clear up any lingering confusion.
Concept introduction (15 min): a new topic explained simply, such as accruals, depreciation, or consolidations.
Worked example (10 min): I demonstrate a full exam-style question, explaining each step aloud.
Guided practice (15 min): you attempt a similar question while I coach you through it.
Recap and homework (10 min): we summarize key points, note common exam traps, and set targeted practice for next time.
