About Ufuk
Hello everyone. I am a student studying English Language Teaching at Aydın Adnan Menderes University. As per my department, I am prone to lecturing and I prefer to teach my students with fun. I had a few students I taught privately before, most of whom were beginners, but one of them was an advanced university student and I helped her pass the preparatory class. I am against theoretical teaching in lessons, that is, instead of tiring the student with "grammar", which we call grammar, I prefer to increase their language skills by having them practice. I cannot claim that I have an excellent experience, but I am sure that I can help you learn English and do it without using classical methods and without overwhelming you.

I set up my lessons according to the level of my student, and generally my first lesson is about determining my student's level and deficiencies. How can I achieve this? Of course, with a pre-prepared test, I get a basic knowledge, prepare a speaking practice according to my student's age, department or why he wants to learn English (if necessary), and at the end of the lesson I discuss this with him and start preparing a plan for the next lessons.
Then I usually divide my lessons into three categories. These include listening, grammar, and reading. I complete the lesson plan by blending vocabulary and speaking skills into these three basic categories, and I teach within the days we have determined with my student.
At the end of each subject or when I observe a progress in my student or vice versa, I determine the deficiencies and the points that need to be repeated with a mock exam and pass it over again, or if it is successful, I make the transition to the next level or subject. I give frequent feedback and awareness to my student and also help him reinforce the subject with extracurricular mini-assignments.
