About Hamza

I want to help others learn about Islam and learn Arabic, and I'm doing this so I can buy my books for my studies now.

I have studied Arabic and the Islamic sciences for several years at Darul Fath Seminary and completed an intensive, full-time year of Arabic study at Darul Qasim College, where I focused on advanced Arabic and classical Islamic texts. My studies have given me a strong foundation in formal Arabic and the language of traditional scholarly works.

Since 2023, I have taught Qur’anic reading and understanding to children of different ages and abilities, both in classrooms and through individual tutoring. I have experience designing lessons, adapting to students' different paces, and helping beginners progress from recognizing Arabic letters to reading independently.

As an advanced student myself, I understand the importance of clear explanations and consistent practice. I want to make lessons productive and help you develop confidence and a solid foundation for your own progress.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is patient and adapted to each student's level and learning pace. Having taught Qur’anic reading at the masjid for years, as well as providing individual tutoring, I have experience teaching both groups and students one-on-one.

A typical lesson with me begins with reviewing the previous lesson and homework, followed by going over the new lesson and its exercises, then we do guided reading of an Arabic text. I encourage gradual progression, repetition, and building a strong foundation before moving to more advanced material.

My lessons are suitable for complete beginners, children and adults developing their Arabic reading skills, and students interested in formal Arabic and foundational grammar. I tailor the material to each student's goals, whether they are learning the alphabet for the first time or strengthening skills they have already acquired.
