About Salima
I'm a Lebanese researcher — but Arabic has always been my other, deeper life.
I grew up memorizing the Quran. I fell in love with Arabic poetry and novels long before I knew any other language. I practice Islam daily, and through it I've maintained my relationship with this language that is less about grammar rules and more about feeling — the weight of a word, the rhythm of a verse, the way Arabic carries meaning that no translation can fully capture.
I'm not a professional language teacher, though I grew up in a family of Arabic or Quran teachers. I'm a native Lebanese speaker who genuinely loves the standard Arabic at a soul level, and want to share that love with beginners who are drawn to Arabic for reasons beyond the practical.
