In the world of computer design, 3D modeling is the process of developing graphics and images that appear to have three dimensions through specific computer-based software. The process is not the simplest, but it generally involves linking a set of points with various geometric data, such as lines and curved surfaces, with the aim of creating a wideframe model that represents a three-dimensional object. For several years now all planners, architects, designers and, more generally, all those involved in the architectural and construction sector, have learned to deal with the use of one or more 3D modeling software to transpose the project idea that they have in mind in 3D models with attention to the smallest details. - Primitive modeling - Polygonal modeling - NURBS modeling - Splines and patch modeling - CAD drawing
