About James
I am a semi-professional musician based in York. I perform regularly in York as part of a Beatles tribute band in and around the city.
I have been playing guitar for over 10 years and have a wide range of influences especially from the 60s and 70s including The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin but I enjoy playing and teaching any style of music.

The guitar is such a fun instrument to play and whether you want to just play songs to yourself in your bedroom or perform with a band I can help get you there.
If you are a beginner or a little more experience I'd love to help you along your guitar journey. I'll give you a solid understanding of chords and scales so that you can play the songs you love and even start creating your own music.
Lessons are either 30 minutes or 60 minutes and are focused around what you want to learn - songs, theory, solos, songwriting - I can help!
