About Robin
My name’s Robin and I’m a native English and French speaker from Luxemburg. Aside from teaching, I earn a living as a freelance culture photojournalist, translator and Sound Engineer. I am an avid reader with a passion for music, film, photography and all forms of contemporary art. After graduating from Film School in Paris, my ambition and curiosity has led me around the world. I moved to Malta in 2020 and have previously lived in Luxemburg, Paris, Toronto and London (UK). Immersing myself in each country and teaching students from around the world has helped me identify what makes the English language so rich and unique. As a writer, I am fueled by a passion for languages. For me, teaching English is a natural way of sharing this love whilst also learning about different interests and occupations from people around the world.

Teaching is a team effort.
And with any team effort, communication is key.
For beginner learners, my main goal is to build a solid foundation by focusing on basic conversation, basic grammar and heavily emphasizing on fluency. Once we reach a solid lower to upper-intermediate level where the learner is able to interact with the English speaking world on their own, my role goes from that of an instructor to that of a coach.
This means that I am able to give advice and tips on how to learn and where to find the knowledge and practice that is best suited for your current needs.
