About Raphael
Hi! I'm Rapha, a Brazilian with a passion for education, communication, travel, and culture. My journey in education started at school, where I participated in educational projects and developed my communication and public speaking skills. Since then, I've had the opportunity to teach in schools, NGOs, and volunteer projects in Brazil and abroad, including Thailand, Scotland, and New Zealand. I speak Portuguese, English, and Spanish, which helps me understand the challenges of learning a new language and communicating with students from different backgrounds. For me, teaching is a two-way exchange. I love helping students discover Portuguese and Brazil while also learning from their own cultures, stories, and experiences.

I adapt my lessons to each student's level, goals, and learning style, using conversation, visual exercises, music, movies, games, and real-life situations. My main focus is communication and confidence when speaking Portuguese. I like to teach grammar in context, as a tool to help students express themselves naturally rather than as the main focus of the lesson. I also love introducing students to Brazilian culture, including our music, food, traditions, everyday expressions, and the way Brazilians communicate. I have experience teaching in Brazil and abroad, including volunteer projects and schools. I speak English and Spanish, which allows me to support students from different backgrounds, especially beginners. My lessons are suitable for beginners to advanced students, whether your goal is traveling, living in Brazil, communicating with Brazilian friends, family, or partners, improving conversation, or simply getting to know Brazilian Portuguese and culture. My goal is simple: help you use Portuguese in real life, not just study it.
