About Rika
My name is Rika Stefanie, and I studied in a British school for 12 years, which gave me strong experience with the British curriculum and a deep understanding of English language learning. Growing up in such an environment allowed me to become fluent and confident in English, while also developing the skills to explain concepts clearly to others. I am passionate about helping students improve their English — whether it’s fluency, grammar, writing, or exam preparation. I believe learning should be enjoyable as well as effective, so my lessons are designed to be interactive, encouraging, and adapted to each student’s pace. Because I am fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Bahasa Indonesia, I can connect with students from diverse backgrounds and explain lessons in the way that works best for them. I am friendly, patient, and committed to making every student feel comfortable while gaining the confidence they need to succeed.

I believe every student learns differently, so my approach to tutoring is flexible and tailored to individual needs. I make sure to break down difficult concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations, while also using real-life examples to help students connect what they learn in class with practical situations. My teaching methodology focuses on patience, encouragement, and building confidence, so students not only improve their grades but also enjoy the learning process.
A typical lesson lasts around 60, depending on the student’s needs and attention span. During this time, I combine theory, practice questions, and interactive discussions to ensure active engagement. I also assign light exercises or revision strategies for students to practice independently.
I studied in a British school for 12 years, which gives me strong experience with the British curriculum and exam style. I am fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Bahasa Indonesia, allowing me to support students from different backgrounds effectively.
My lessons are ideal for primary and secondary students who are looking to strengthen their skills in English, prepare for exams, or simply build more confidence in their studies.
