I am able to simplify learning Arabic, Quran, and Islamic studies. With my background in Arabic studies and my Western upbringing, I understand the challenges English speakers face in learning Arabic and can explain concepts in ways that resonate with them.

About the lesson

Hi, I am a British student of knowledge living in Mauritania. At age seven, my parents made hijrah with me to Egypt, where I memorized the Qur'an by age 11 and studied at Azhar schools for 10 years, learning both fusha and Egyptian Arabic fluently. I then spent four years in Sudan focusing on Qur'an, Qiraat, and higher Islamic studies, before coming to Mauritania, where I have continued my Arabic studies for the past five years. I have five years of teaching experience in Arabic, Qiraat, Tajweed, and Islamic studies to students of all ages and backgrounds, both in person and online. I've also taught English online, created a business English course, and am familiar with online learning tools and platforms.
