Jane is an intelligent, engaging, and considerate tutor who gave up much of her personal time to me during our study of the Bar Practice Course. She taught me the syllabus and how to apply the law in problem scenarios. Jane also helped me develop important time management skills.

I have known Jane for a few years, we met during the Bar Practice Course (BPC). During this time, we regularly studied together, prepared for exams, and supported each other throughout the course. In addition to our studies, we have also worked together in a professional setting, which has given me further insight into her work ethic and character.

As a tutor, Jane is exceptionally dedicated, knowledgeable, and supportive. She has this natural ability to break down complex legal concepts into clear, understandable explanations, making even the most challenging topics make sense.

She is patient and encouraging, and has made learning together a comfortable experience. One thing I appreciate about her the most is, she knows when to challenge you and push you to reach a higher standard.

One particular experience that stands out is our exam preparation for Civil Litigation during the BPC. She played a key role in helping me refine my understanding of a few topics including Parties, Disclosure, Settlements and Limitations, often taking the time to explain these topics in different ways until they fully clicked. Her support and guidance were truly instrumental in helping me achieve a Distinction.
