About Kanishan

I am a Land Economy undergraduate at the University of Cambridge with A* grades at A-Level, including 94% in A-Level Economics. I have over 100 hours of tutoring experience, helping students improve their confidence, achieve higher grades, and develop strong exam technique.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to help students develop a deep understanding of Economics and Politics rather than simply memorising content. Success at A-Level comes from applying knowledge effectively, so I focus on building analytical thinking, essay-writing skills, and exam technique alongside a strong grasp of the specification.
Every lesson is tailored to the individual student's needs. We begin by identifying areas for improvement before working through concepts using clear explanations, real-world examples, and structured discussion. I regularly use past paper questions, examiner reports, and mark schemes to help students understand exactly what examiners are looking for and how to consistently achieve top marks.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged if required. Students receive personalised feedback after each lesson, together with targeted revision advice and practice questions to reinforce their learning between sessions.
I teach A-Level Economics, A-Level Politics, and provide Cambridge Land Economy admissions preparation. Whether you're aiming to improve your predicted grades, achieve top exam results, or strengthen your Cambridge application, my lessons are designed to build both confidence and long-term academic success.
