About Esther
I have 5 years of tutoring experience and specialise in designing curriculum for ESL, teaching English as a second language, English language and literature (at all levels), and IELTS/Pearson exam preparation.
- I taught and designed the English curriculum for two employability programs for upper secondary school students in Dignity for Children (an NGO): ASET (Advanced Secondary Employability Training) and ELL (English Language Learners).
- I tutor English online to students of all ages (children-adults) and levels (beginner-advanced). As of 2021, I have taught over 500 hours, and my average rating is 9.8/10.
- In my second year at university, I gave weekly one-on-one tutoring in GCSE English and English Literature.
- In 2016, I taught English at a sports and language camp in Greece for a month. I taught an average of 3 hours every day, to students of varying ages (6-16 years) and abilities. As I was working with limited materials, I came up with language games and fun roleplay activities.
- During my A-levels, I gave weekly one-on-one tutoring in Math/English to Form 1-3 students at a school in Kuala Lumpur.

I bring first-hand experience to the table: be it in English language learning, test preparation, assignments etc., and am able to help you achieve your learning goals.
