About Geneva
English being my mother tongue and having learned several languages from a young age, I naturally decided to make teaching my profession. So, I give part-time online English lessons, mainly to Asian students, ranging in level from beginner to advanced. On the other hand, I also give private lessons to young English students (from 6 to 14 years old). I help them develop their written expression, reading comprehension, and their vocabulary in order to prepare them for the 11+ exam in England.

I teach my lessons by following a structure and depending on the level, I generally proceed as follows: - We start with an introduction to the theme of the lesson using a dialogue accompanied by pictures. - Then, we look at the structure of the sentences and the vocabulary of the theme as well as its use in the dialogue. - Finally, we put the learning into practice with support at first, and then without (type sentence to be completed or grammar examples with the voc addressed).

Perfect! Ce fut un plaisir d'avoir Geneve comme professeure. En plus d'être une personne souriante et bienveillante, il a proposé des solutions pédagogiques appropriées pour répondre à mes besoins particuliers pour atteindre le niveau d'anglais dont j'avait besoin pour suivre mon programme d'ingénierie en anglais. Elle proposé de lectures d'articles courts en relation avec l'ingénierie, qui permettaient élargir le vocabulaire spécifique et servaient de base pour avoir des discussion afin de améliorer la compétence orale. Elle a toujours de bonnes idées et rend le cours très agréable. Cela a été très utile pour moi. Je le recommande fortement.
- I really enjoyed teaching Xenay's son! He definitely has a bright future in engineering. I hope the lessons we spent on the documents, each on engineering topics that his university course would cover, helped in building up his vocabulary.
