Hi, I’m Jay Khon — an ICPT-certified personal trainer with over 5 years of coaching experience, focused on helping clients build strength, improve fitness, and achieve lasting body transformations.

I help people build strength, lose fat, and transform their physique through structured, personalized training. My approach is simple: no guesswork, no extreme methods. Just a clear system designed for real sustainable results.

I’ve worked with clients of all levels, including beginners and individuals with specific conditions, so every program is adapted to your body, pace, and goals.

For me, training is not just about workouts. It’s about building consistency, confidence, and making fitness something you can actually sustain long-term.

  • At what age did you start playing sports? Tell us about this time or moment in your life.

    I started playing badminton when I was 10 years old. From the beginning, I had a competitive mindset and was driven to improve. I trained intensively, eventually competing at the state level and winning multiple medals. This phase of my life taught me discipline, perseverance, and the importance of structured training. While I didn't pursue it professionally, I still compete occasionally and continue to push myself in the sport.
  • What are your favourite sports; those that you practice at a high level, a simple hobby, and a sport that you'd still like to discover?

    Badminton is my strongest sport - I've competed in tournaments and have a collection of medals and achievements. I also take weight training seriously, and my passion led me to become an internationally certified personal trainer. Outside of these, I'd love to explore calisthenics, as it challenges both strength and body control in unique ways.
  • What gives you the motivation and passion to pursue your sport?

    The drive to be better than I was yesterday keeps me going. In badminton, I always strive to refine my technique and stay competitive. In fitness, my motivation comes from both my personal transformation and my ability to help others achieve their goals. Seeing progress - whether in myself or my clients - fuels my passion.
  • Do you have a sporting achievement that you're particularly proud of?

    Winning multiple medals in badminton tournaments is something I take great pride in. Competing at a high level and proving my abilities on the court has been incredibly rewarding. Another achievement is earning my international certification as a personal trainer, allowing me to turn my passion for fitness into a career that helps others.
  • How have your achievements and challenges made you a better sportsperson?

    Every win and setback has shaped me into a stronger, more resilient athlete. Badminton taught me the value of discipline and hard work, while fitness has shown me the importance of consistency and patience. Overcoming challenges, whether injuries or self-doubt, has given me the mental toughness needed to succeed in both sports and life.
  • If you had to go for a jog with a famous athlete, who would you choose? And what questions would you ask them?

    I'd choose Cristiano Ronaldo. His dedication and longevity in sports are inspiring. I'd ask him how he maintains such an elite level of performance for so many years and what mindset shifts are necessary to stay at the top of the game.
  • How do you help people stay motivated?

    I help people stay motivated by setting clear goals, tracking progress, and reminding them of their "why." Motivation comes and goes, so I emphasise discipline and consistency. As a coach, I adapt my approach to each individual - some need encouragement, while others thrive with tough challenges. Most importantly, I lead by example, showing that hard work pays off.
  • What makes you a Superprof in sports?

    My expertise in both badminton and fitness sets me apart. I have a strong competitive background, having won numerous badminton tournaments, and I bring that same discipline into fitness coaching. As an internationally-certified personal trainer, I use a science-backed approach to help people achieve their goals. My goal isn't just to train individuals but to inspire, educate, and push them beyond their limits.
