About Omar

I am a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) with over 6 years experience in tutoring students of differing capabilities and subjects.

Having been through the grueling process without any support, I wanted to ensure that I could help make other students lives easier by teaching them to develop the right skills needed to pass the exams. I know exactly what is required in order for students to pass the exams first time.

My approach to learning is to hammer home by explaining concepts and then executing this knowledge through question practice.

I keep students engaged by allowing conversation to flow freely and breaking down tricky scenarios to make them easy to digest - keeping students engaged rather than losing them. I also teach students to stick to the point rather than wasting time explaining concepts in great detail which will not pick up marks.

About the lesson

To pass the professional qualification exams, you need to understand the content, and be able to apply this to the exam scenario.

I have developed key techniques to help remember content easily and identify the accounting and tax concepts being asked for. My approach to exam success is ensuring that students have the right exam technique as well as understanding the knowledge of their relevant exam.

I have been teaching privately for 6 years and have helped students from apprentices to graduates at level 4 and level 7 pass their exams.
