About Amanda
I'm a very outgoing and lively person, I recently moved to Vitória to study chemistry at UFES, I love music and I'm learning how to play the violin, I like to learn languages (currently learning Spanish, Dutch, French, and Arabic) and I also really enjoy the programming field.

I have experience teaching English from scratch to children (4-11 years old) but also advanced English (speaking-focused and grammar of the language) for teenagers and adults (including for foreigners).
I try to give fun classes, aiming the understand of the everyday/informal English but with a personalized methodology for each student, since learning a new language is often more difficult than learning math, history, or physics. Although my experience is in focused on teaching conversational and spontaneous classes, nothing prevents the classes from being formal, if the student so desires.

Amanda tem um jeito de explicar as coisas que é único dela. Ela é organizada não somente nas aulas mas também nas tarefas que ela passa para casa e sabe avaliar muito bem o que o aluno precisa. Além disso, ela também tem o equilíbrio certo entre ser humorada e séria quando se trata das aulas que ela dá, conforme é necessário. Suas aulas são super divertidas e ela faz aprender a língua inglesa algo muito mais sútil.
Amanda é uma excelente professora, possui muita paciência e domínio da língua! Passei alguns meses aprendendo inglês com ela e foram incríveis e muito produtivos, meu nível de inglês melhorou drasticamente. Sempre tirou todas as minhas dúvidas e me ensinou de formas divertidas. Recomendo ela para qualquer um que deseja aprender essa nova língua!
