About Melody

Welcome to Melody’s Piano Studio! I’ve been playing the piano since I was six years old and have been teaching for over eight years. I am currently studying Master’s Degree in Music Performance from Towson University and teach students of all ages, from young beginners to adults in their 70s. Teaching piano brings me immense joy, especially when I see my students learning and developing a love for playing. I believe that passion is the best teacher, and I am committed to nurturing your interest in piano while guiding you to the next level. In addition to teaching, I also work as an accompanist for various instruments, provide accompaniment for college students, and serve as a church pianist. It would be my pleasure to embark on this musical journey with you. Let’s make music together!

About the lesson

I believe every student is unique, which is why each lesson is personalized to suit your individual needs and pace of learning. Whether you love classical music, jazz, or pop songs, I’ll teach you the pieces that inspire you most!

In our lessons, you’ll:

- Learn to read music notation and understand music theory.
- Develop your ear training and sight-reading skills.
- Strengthen your hands with proven techniques.
- Master scales and chords while exploring your favorite songs.

Each year, we will have 2 students recital in Spring and Fall.

Together, we’ll make your musical journey enjoyable and tailored just for you!

I do lessons in 30 min, 45 min, 60 min (I recommend beginner and young students do 30 min lessons first )
