About Helgaard
I am a high school Accounting teacher with several years of teaching experience for grade 8 - 12 under my belt. I am a B.Com graduate and have also completed my postgraduate certificate in education focusing on financial & school-level accounting.
I also have vast tutoring experience for both individual & group classes.

My teaching method is adapted for whichever subject I am teaching. For example in an Accounting class I would focus greatly on understanding the practicality of the transaction at hand. In a more theoretical setting for example Economics, I place great emphasis on how the topic at hand is relevant to the bigger picture and knowing the theory in general and not just topic specific.
All of my lessons are accompanied by a detailed study guide/Powerpoint presentation explaining the topic at hand free of charge.
I can also provide additional exercises/summaries at an additional cost.
