I have known Carol Baker for 48 years. She and I taught school at the same high school. She has always been conscientious and has done an outstanding job as both a teacher and as author. Carol has always done more than was required of her. When she was teaching, she made sure that her students understood the curriculum being taught. When she saw that her students weren’t comprehending the material, she took time to retract it. She used teaching techniques which allowed both her higher-level and academically challenged students to achieve. After retiring from teaching, Carol could have been content to spend her retirement years relaxing, but instead chose to write a children’s book.
