About Collen
Teaching English is something I truly enjoy because it allows me to help students grow and achieve their goals. With 7 years of experience as an ESL tutor, I have worked with high school and college students, teaching around 150 to 200 learners. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit their needs.
I focus on grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills, especially speaking and writing. One of my proudest achievements is helping students become confident English speakers. Many of my students have improved their academic performance and communication abilities.
My teaching style is simple, friendly, and interactive. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable to learn and grow. My goal is to help students succeed and feel confident in their English skills.

My ESL teaching approach is designed to build confidence and practical communication skills. I use real-life examples and case studies to help students understand how English is used in different situations such as social conversations, professional communication, and academic contexts.
I motivate students by creating a supportive and encouraging environment where they feel comfortable to learn and grow. I include problem-solving techniques such as role-plays, discussions, and real-life activities to improve their fluency and thinking skills.
I teach with integrity by giving honest feedback and guiding students with patience and clarity. I also use a flexible teaching style, adjusting lessons based on each student’s needs and goals.
Besides ESL, I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and writing to help students become confident and effective communicators.
