About Andrei
I am a student at the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers in Timisoara, where I study Computer Engineering in English. I speak English fluently and hold a Cambridge certification. I have learned English in parallel with Romanian since I was 3 years old, so I consider both languages native to me. English is not just a language studied at school for me, but one that I have used naturally throughout my life, and this helps me to explain not only the grammatical rules, but also the natural expression, the nuances and the way the language is used in real conversations. I use English constantly in both my personal, professional and academic environment, especially in programming, engineering and technology. I can teach both general English, for conversation, grammar, vocabulary, written expression and text comprehension, as well as technical English, useful for pupils, students and those who work or want to work in fields such as IT, engineering and technology. I have experience in teaching and mentoring, including working with children, adolescents and students. I am a graduate of the psychopedagogical module and have experience as a trainer in educational workshops and as a tutor for students.

My goal is that, after a few months, the student will start to have enough confidence and "boldness" to engage in conversations with native speakers or other English speakers on their own, even if they still make mistakes. We can talk about both general and technical English. A language is best learned when lessons are complemented by using it in real situations. Therefore, as the student's level increases, I encourage them to speak, write, read and consume content in English outside of the sessions. I will also help you find communities where you can practice speaking and listening in English, as well as *pen pal* partners with whom you can develop your writing and comprehension of texts. Lessons with me can continue in parallel with this independent practice: we discuss the difficulties encountered, correct mistakes, expand vocabulary and systematically work on the points that still need improvement. You may also be able to tell me the topics of discussion with those people :) As your level increases, we will gradually reduce the use of Romanian during the sessions, to the point where we will communicate exclusively in English. The goal is for you to get used to thinking, formulating ideas and reacting directly in English, without constantly translating from Romanian. The goal is for the progress to not remain strictly linear, limited to one or two hours of English per week. I want the student to reach a point where he can use what he has learned to learn even more on his own: conversations develop his vocabulary, vocabulary allows him to understand more difficult materials, and these then give him access to even more contexts in which he can use the language. In this way, the learning process can become increasingly faster and more independent. I periodically use tests to objectively see what level we have reached, what skills have been consolidated and where there are still gaps. Depending on the results, we adapt the following lessons and determine what needs to be practiced more. In the long term, my goal is not for the student to be permanently dependent on lessons with me. On the contrary, I consider that I have succeeded when the student can have conversations, write, search for information and continue to develop their English without the constant need of a teacher. I use the principles of neural plasticity through active repetition, frequent practice and constant exposure to the language, so that new structures and expressions gradually become natural and easy to use. My role is to help the student reach that level of autonomy as quickly and as solidly as possible. The number and difficulty of the skills must increase exponentially throughout the training period with me, but then also independently. For those interested in technical English, we can also work with documentation, articles, university materials and specific engineering vocabulary. The goal is to be able to understand and use English in real, academic or professional contexts. Lessons can be adapted according to level, age and objective: improving school results, conversation, preparing for college, using English in the workplace or developing technical vocabulary.

Bună ziua. Cunosc acest tânăr de multi ani, de mic copil, am numai cuvinte de lauda la adresa lui. Andrei este un tânăr deosebit, care se remarca prin inteligenta, corectitudine și seriozitate. Este o persoana pe care te poți baza intotdeauna, un om de cuvânt și de încredere, cu mult bun simt, atitudine pozitiva și un simt al umorului fin. Toate aceste calități il fac o prezenta extrem de placuta și valoroasă in orice context.
Cunosc faptul că în clasa în anii de liceu a predat la LOGI SCOOL, un curs de inițiere în calculatoare pentru copiii din clasele primare. Îi place să fie profesor. Citește multă psihologie, cunoște pedagogie -curs opțional făcut la facultatea de Automatică și Calculatoare Timișoara. De asemenea este voluntar la organizația ,,SALVAȚI COPIII,, unde a si fost declarat într-un an ,,voluntarul anului,,. Student fiind, acum, ajută colegii mai mici la materiile de specialitate.
Mă bucur că am putut să văd ce înseamnă ingineria. Inițial am vrut doar informatică, dar Andrei mi-a arătat și despre calculatoare.
Un sudent genial. Recomandăm cu căldură.
Andrei este un tip serios și bine pregătit. A fost un elev eminent, este un student grozav și are talent pedagogic, plus experiență , dobândită în cadrul unor joburi part-time, unde a predat informatica. Recomand cu încredere.
