About Shahd
I am a certified English instructor with a 150-hour TESOL certification from Arizona State University. As a native Arabic speaker who transitioned into fluent American English, I know exactly what it feels like to know the grammar rules but still feel "stuck" when it is time to speak. We are moving away from repetitive drills and focusing on how English is actually spoken in the 21st century. My methodology uses immersion through modern media like movies, series, and pop culture to teach you the language that native speakers actually use, rather than the outdated phrases found in traditional classrooms.
Our sessions are a "stress-free zone" designed to build your muscle memory. We will focus on the flow of conversation, learning how to start, maintain, and gracefully exit discussions on any topic.
