1. English – Vocabulary Development
I taught students new vocabulary using context clues, pictures, and everyday examples. They practiced using the words in complete sentences and conversations to improve their speaking, writing, and overall English communication skills.
2. English – Speaking and Oral Communication
The lesson focused on developing students’ speaking confidence through role-playing, discussions, and short presentations. Students practiced correct pronunciation, grammar, and clear expression while communicating their ideas effectively.
3. English – Reading Comprehension
I guided students in reading a short passage with proper pronunciation and expression. They identified the main idea, answered comprehension questions, and shared their insights to strengthen reading comprehension and critical thinking skills.
4. English – Grammar
I taught the basic parts of speech and proper sentence construction. Students identified nouns, verbs, adjectives, and other parts of speech while creating simple sentences to improve grammar accuracy and written communication.
5. Arts – Elements of Art
I introduced the seven elements of art and explained how they are used in creative works. Students applied these concepts by creating simple drawings that demonstrated line, shape, color, texture, and space.
6. Arts – Color Theory
The lesson covered primary, secondary, and complementary colors. Students explored color mixing through painting activities and learned how different color combinations create balance, contrast, and visual appeal in artworks.
7. Arts – Drawing Techniques
I taught basic drawing and shading techniques, including sketching, blending, and hatching. Students practiced creating depth, texture, and realistic forms while improving their observation and artistic skills.
8. Arts – Poster Making
Students learned the principles of effective poster design, including layout, color harmony, and emphasis. They created posters that clearly communicated a message while demonstrating creativity and proper use of visual elements.
