About Logan

I have 7 years of experience teaching piano and guiding students through different stages of musical growth. My passion for education drives me to design lessons that are clear, organised, and inspiring. I work with school and college students, helping them develop both technical strength and artistic expression.

One meaningful milestone in my career was preparing students who successfully performed at cultural programmes and received recognition for their talent. I emphasise strong foundations, including correct finger placement, rhythm control, and music reading skills.

I believe piano education helps improve concentration, patience, and emotional balance. My classroom atmosphere is friendly yet disciplined, encouraging students to challenge themselves. Teaching piano gives me the opportunity to inspire creativity, dedication, and confidence in every learner.

About the lesson

My piano teaching methodology focuses on helping students develop both technical proficiency and artistic expression. I start by assessing each student’s current abilities, learning style, and goals, then create a structured lesson plan that includes finger exercises, scale practice, chord work, rhythm drills, and song performance.

Motivation is a key part of my approach; I encourage students through achievable milestones, regular feedback, and positive reinforcement to build confidence and maintain consistent practice. Communication is clear and interactive, making complex concepts like note reading, dynamics, phrasing, tempo, and hand coordination easy to understand.

Integrity guides my teaching, as I maintain punctual, well-prepared lessons and provide honest progress assessments. Creativity is nurtured through improvisation, composing simple melodies, experimenting with different musical styles, and encouraging personal interpretation.

Along with piano, I also teach sight reading, ear training, and music theory to provide a comprehensive musical foundation.
