He is a great coach. Knows how to teach young kids and keep them engaged and motivated. We start seeing the progress at the end of the 1st practice.

Still ongoing, but so far his coaching seems to have made a significant change very early. My son is fairly new to the game and was having dribbling coordination issues that I have seen improve drastically along with his shooting.

I liked how the workouts were flexible to my abilities, but challenging at the same time. They were laid out very well and throughly explained and demonstrated to me. Mr. Royster was there to assist when I was having a tough time and was able to adapt workouts to help strengthen my abilities better.

I worked out with Markes Royster and so did my children. He was very understanding and communicated greatly throughout the entire workout. Furthermore, he is great with kids, they responded very well to him.

Working with Marcus was life changing for me. Was a junior at University of Central Florida coming off injury and Marcus was a manager at the time. Once I got healthy we worked out EVERY SINGLE DAY! Never told me what I wanted to hear always kept it real with me from the start. Fast forward a bit Marcus helped my game go from 8.5 points per game to 15 Points per games that following season. Marcus helped a ton with my three point shooting, reading screens, coming off screens. Every workout was particular to what I do and that’s shoot threes. With the help of Marcus I became the leading three point shooter in University of Central Florida history with Makes in a game 11! Makes in a season and career made threes.

Major accomplishment is that with the help of Marcus I had a good summer league showing in Vegas which he also came and worked with me while in Vegas. That showing earned me a spot in the NBA with the Miami Heat! Marcus is very reliable and when he says let’s work he means that!!

The greatest trainer ever

It was great, learned about a lot of ball screens, learning the point guard position even more than now. I learned so many different ways to read and score off ball screens, and how to make the right plays.

Very professional and enthusiastic! You can tell Markes has a deep knowledge of the game of basketball, and he enjoys helping others get better!! Highly recommend working with Markes at any level of basketball from high school to professional!

The attention to detail and real game situation is my absolute favorite part of working with Royster. Every workout is focused on the little things that can take your game to the next level physically and mentally. He also gives off great energy that is contagious from the time he starts the workout until the end. Lastly, his ability to be able to challenge players at all levels is amazing to me, he knows how to get you out of your comfort zone and that is important for growth on the court!
