About Kira

I have danced my entire life. I have taught classes throughout high school. After high school, I was involved in two intense training programs. This caused a pause in my continuation of teaching. I am excited to be able to pass on my knowledge.

About the lesson

I base my teaching on the students needs. I plan out what I want to teach during class, but once class starts it will depend on how the student learns. I can teach verbally, demonstrating and guiding. In choreography, I like to let the older dancers have some input. Let them help in the creative process.

Kira used to teach me dance. More specifically ballet Technique. When she teaches students, she uses the love and passion of dance that her and her students share to connect on a bigger level. She supports her students and teaches them all the necessary skills that will help them achieve their goal whether they are dancing as a hobby or hoping to do it as a career. She has a lot of patience with her students and finds different creative ways to help them grow as a dancer and as a person. She not only connects with them but she treats her students with the kindness and empathy as she would with family.

My rates are for class only. If you want choreography done, I charge $225 for a solo, $250 for a duet, and $300 for a group. These rates are for if the choreography can be completed in 3-4 hours (for groups 4-5 hours). After that, it will cost an additional $20/hour.
