About Anshu

Hello, future students! My name is Anshu Sharma, and I am excited to be your guide into the fascinating world of sociology. I have always been deeply curious about how societies function, why we behave the way we do in groups, and how social structures impact our lives. This curiosity led me to study sociology extensively, and now I want to share that passion with others. I believe sociology is not just an academic subject; it is a powerful tool to understand the world around us, question norms, and think critically about social issues. Teaching gives me the opportunity to help others develop that same curiosity and awareness. I want to share my knowledge because I believe that by understanding society, we can challenge inequalities, foster empathy, and contribute to positive change. Whether you are new to sociology or looking to deepen your understanding, I am here to help you explore its many layers and see how it applies to your life and the world we live in. I can not wait to start this journey with you!

About the lesson

As a sociology teacher, my approach is student-centered, fostering critical thinking and curiosity. I believe in creating a learning environment that encourages open dialogue, where students feel comfortable questioning societal norms and structures. I tailor my lessons to each student's unique learning style, ensuring that complex sociological concepts are made clear through real-world examples, case studies, and interactive discussions. I use a mix of teaching methods, including visual aids, debates, and assignments that encourage students to apply theoretical knowledge to contemporary issues. By connecting sociological theories to everyday life, I help students not only grasp the material but also see its relevance to the world around them. I also value continuous feedback, making sure to adjust my teaching strategies to best support each student’s progress. Whether through individual tutoring or group sessions, I aim to ignite a passion for sociology and equip students with the tools to analyze social issues from an informed and critical perspective.
