About The Skate School
South Africa’s Only Full-Time Skateboard Academy — Now at Ferndale Rec Centre.
If you are looking for a public skate park or roller skating, this isn't it. We are a specialised Skateboarding Academy focused on taking students from their first push to technical mastery through a professional 2-year curriculum.
What sets us apart:
No Public Crowds: Lessons are held at our private training ground at Ferndale Recreation Centre. You don't have to dodge 50 other people while you're trying to learn.
The Skate Track App: We don't just "wing it." Every lesson is tracked, and every trick is logged on our proprietary app so you can see your progress in real-time.
All-Weather Ready: We have a dedicated indoor hall backup, so rain never stops your progress.

Our lessons happen in a group environment in our indoor skate park inside Cresta Shopping centre.
Skateboarding should be about fun, so we try our best to make every lesson as interesting as possible.

We don't just teach skateboarding; we build champions. The Skate School is home to the current U13 Boys, U16 Boys, and O13 Girls South African Champions. Our methodology works from the first push to the podium.
Every student is managed through our Skate Track system, ensuring a clear, measurable path from our 12-week beginner program to our 18-month advanced tracks.
