About Nick
I am bilingual, born in England but of Italian origin (Veneto). I came to live in Italy after a working life in England. I work part time in the center of Naples as an English teacher. I also offer online lessons from home in Sorrento, mainly in Business English. I share 25+ years of business experience as a consultant and freelancer. I also have 8 years of experience as a Professor of Economics and Business in England. I worked in the areas of business consultancy, graphics, catering and organizational communication / ethics / values projects. I love teaching English because I teach something really useful that can change life and I can share the experience of a life of work and culture in a convivial environment. From here I also often learn something beautiful.

My approach is customized for individuals or colleagues thanks to a Needs Analysis. So we can start from your experience and knowledge, aiming from the beginning to your goals and applying my methods in the most effective way possible. I teach in English because classroom talk is essential for learning. And when you need you can speak in Italian. The lessons are based on intensive and fun activities and conversations based on real materials that facilitate learning the famous idiomatic expressions that we take for granted in our mother tongue. Because the best ways to learn and remember are to 'do and speak'. I focus a lot on pronunciation because to understand English well you need to know how to speak it without the often screaming Italian accent. I also use my experience in voice coaching and NLP (Neural Linguistic Programming) to help you find your voice. Often my students tell me that my lessons have improved their learning, cognition and communication also in Italian.
