My courses are aimed at secondary school students preparing for exams in literature, grammar, etc., or seeking an improvement of their skills. I also give private lessons in English (language and literature) to students in higher education. I am from the Oxbridge system and taught many undergraduate tutorials at the University of Oxford while I was a graduate student. I have a PhD in comparative literature from Oxford, where I specialised in literature and poetry from the Caribbean region and the Americas. My thesis on the work of Aimé Césaire and Derek Walcott is being published by Classiques Garnier . Strong expertise in English language poetry of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, in literature from the Americas (poetry, prose, drama), and postcolonial literature.
