About Catherine
I am an Economics tutor with 8 years of experience and a Master of Arts in Economic Policy. My interest in economics grew from understanding how financial decisions shape businesses, communities, and global development.
I believe students learn best when lessons are connected to real situations. My teaching style is supportive, structured, and focused on helping learners understand concepts clearly while developing confidence through regular practice.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading economic reports, following business trends, and exploring international markets. These interests help me bring current examples into my lessons while making Economics interesting and meaningful for every learner.

My Economics lessons are designed to show students that economic principles are part of daily life. We study demand and supply, consumer behavior, business decisions, inflation, banking, taxation, trade, and economic growth through simple examples that make every topic easier to understand. I encourage learners to think about how individuals, companies, and governments make financial choices instead of simply memorizing definitions.
As students develop stronger understanding, we explore graphs, calculations, market structures, fiscal policies, monetary systems, and international economics through guided activities. I explain every concept step by step and encourage learners to compare different situations before reaching conclusions. Practice exercises, case studies, and revision sessions help students improve analytical thinking while preparing for examinations.
My goal is to help students build confidence in Economics while strengthening decision-making and reasoning skills. Every lesson encourages curiosity, practical understanding, and the ability to apply economic knowledge in both academic and real-life situations.
