About Zara
I hold a PhD in Development Economics and bring 12 years of teaching experience working with students from diverse academic backgrounds. My interest in Economics began with a curiosity about how individual decisions influence larger systems and how policies affect everyday life. Over the years, I have developed a teaching approach that focuses on clarity, real-world relevance, and deep understanding rather than memorization.
My teaching philosophy centers on helping students think independently and logically. I explain concepts in a simple and structured manner, breaking down complex ideas into manageable parts. I use real-life examples, discussions, and practical scenarios to make lessons more meaningful and engaging. I also adapt my teaching style based on each student’s pace and comfort level, ensuring they feel supported and confident throughout their learning journey.
Outside of teaching, I stay engaged with current economic trends, research developments, and global discussions. This helps me bring fresh and relevant insights into my lessons. Teaching Economics is deeply fulfilling because I see students develop confidence, awareness, and analytical ability. Helping them understand the world more clearly and make informed decisions motivates me to continue teaching with dedication.

Economics becomes much clearer and more engaging when students begin to connect theories with the real-world situations they experience every day. My lessons focus on building strong conceptual understanding of key topics such as supply and demand, market structures, inflation, national income, and government policies through simple and structured explanations. I guide students carefully so they understand not just definitions, but also the reasoning behind economic behavior and decision-making. I use relatable examples like price changes, business decisions, and global events to make abstract ideas more practical and easier to understand. Each session creates a calm and open environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their thoughts.
I structure my lessons according to the student’s level and learning pace to ensure effective progress. Beginners focus on basic concepts such as demand, supply, and simple graphs using clear step-by-step guidance. Intermediate learners explore elasticity, market behavior, and economic relationships in more depth with guided practice. Advanced students work on macroeconomic models, policy evaluation, and data interpretation with detailed discussion. Practice questions, case-based thinking, and regular feedback are included to strengthen understanding and improve analytical skills.
Economics helps students develop critical thinking, logical reasoning, and awareness of how systems function in the real world.
