About Myra
My interest in economics began with curiosity about how markets operate and how financial decisions affect everyday life. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, where I developed strong analytical and conceptual skills. Over the past 6 years, I have worked with students from different academic backgrounds, helping them understand economic concepts clearly. Teaching allows me to simplify complex ideas and guide learners effectively.
My teaching style is structured, practical, and adaptable. I use real-life examples, clear explanations, and regular practice to help students understand concepts deeply. I also create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and discussing ideas. This helps them stay motivated and engaged in learning.
Outside teaching, I continue reading about economic trends and financial systems to stay updated. This helps me bring relevant insights into my lessons. Teaching economics is meaningful to me because I see students grow in confidence and understanding. Helping them improve their thinking skills, make better decisions, and succeed academically is something I truly value, and I remain committed to supporting their long-term growth and development.

My economics lessons are designed to make learning simple, structured, and easy to understand for every student. I guide learners through topics such as demand and supply, elasticity, market structures, inflation, national income, and macroeconomic systems using clear explanations. I focus on helping students understand how economic concepts apply to real-life situations instead of memorising theory. Each lesson includes examples, real-world scenarios, and structured explanations that make learning meaningful and easier to follow.
Lessons are planned based on the student’s level and pace of learning. Beginners start with basic concepts and simple economic models. Intermediate learners focus on graphs, calculations, and applying concepts to real-life situations. Advanced students work on deeper analysis, case-based questions, and exam preparation strategies. I provide regular practice, corrections, and revision sessions to ensure steady progress. This helps students build clarity and confidence gradually.
Economics also helps students develop analytical thinking and decision-making skills. As they begin to understand how markets function, they become more aware of financial systems and real-world applications. Many students begin to enjoy economics when they see its practical relevance. My goal is to make economics simple, engaging, and meaningful. I want students to feel confident in understanding concepts, analysing problems clearly, and building a strong foundation that supports academic success and real-life financial awareness and informed decision making.
