About Renee
My interest in economics emerged from curiosity about market behavior, societal resource allocation, and policy impact. This led me to pursue a B.A. in Economics and an M.Sc. in Development Economics, equipping me with a solid foundation in theory, data analysis, and practical application. Over 10 years, I have taught students across levels, simplifying complex concepts, guiding analytical reasoning, and fostering practical understanding.
I emphasize clarity, engagement, and real-world relevance in my teaching. Lessons involve case studies, data interpretation exercises, and interactive problem-solving to cultivate active learning. I encourage independent thinking, thoughtful questioning, and applying economic reasoning to real-life scenarios, ensuring students develop both knowledge and confidence.
Outside the classroom, I remain connected to economic developments, research, and applied studies, which enriches my teaching with contemporary examples and insights. Witnessing students progress from confusion to clarity, develop analytical skills, and confidently interpret economic issues is deeply rewarding.
