About Madison
My interest in economics began while studying how different countries manage resources and economic growth. This curiosity led me to complete a Bachelor’s in Economics and later a Master’s in Development Economics. Over the past 10 years, I have helped students understand economic ideas by presenting them in a clear and structured way that builds long-term understanding.
I believe learning economics should encourage thoughtful discussion and logical reasoning. In my classes, I use graphs, real-world case studies, and simple examples to make abstract ideas easier to understand. I encourage students to ask questions and examine how economic concepts apply to real-life decisions and global challenges.
Outside teaching, I enjoy following international economic reports and research about global markets. Staying connected to current economic developments helps me bring relevant examples into my lessons. Teaching economics is deeply rewarding because it allows students to develop critical thinking skills that help them understand the world around them.

My economics lessons focus on helping students see how economic ideas shape everyday life. Instead of simply memorizing definitions, learners explore how individuals, businesses, and governments make decisions about limited resources. I explain key ideas such as opportunity cost, supply and demand, market equilibrium, and price changes through practical examples. By connecting theory with real situations, students begin to understand why economies behave the way they do.
Each lesson is carefully structured to support different learning levels. Beginners start with core principles like scarcity, trade-offs, and basic market interactions. Intermediate learners work with graphs, economic models, and explanations of market structures such as competition and monopoly. Advanced students analyze government policies, economic data, and real-world case studies that develop deeper analytical thinking. Guided discussions and practice questions help reinforce understanding during each lesson.
Economics becomes meaningful when students realize it explains many decisions around them. My goal is to help learners develop clear reasoning, strong analytical skills, and confidence in discussing economic topics. As their understanding grows, students begin viewing economics not only as an academic subject but also as a valuable tool for understanding society and global development.
