About Lennon
My academic journey in economics began with a desire to understand how societies organise resources and make collective choices. I completed a B.A in Economics, developing a strong grounding in theory, data interpretation, and policy analysis. Over 8 years of teaching, I have helped students transform complex economic ideas into clear, structured understanding.
I value patience and clarity in teaching, adapting explanations to suit different learning styles. My lessons focus on helping students understand relationships between concepts rather than isolated formulas. I encourage learners to question models, explain reasoning, and engage actively with economic ideas in a supportive environment.
Beyond teaching, I stay connected to economics through reading, research analysis, and current policy discussions. Teaching economics is rewarding because I see learners grow into confident thinkers who can analyse real-world issues thoughtfully and communicate ideas with clarity and confidence.

Economics becomes meaningful when learners understand how abstract models connect to everyday decisions and global systems. My lessons focus on building strong conceptual foundations in microeconomics and macroeconomics through clear explanation and logical progression. Students explore supply and demand, market structures, incentives, and resource allocation in ways that feel relevant and understandable. I emphasise reasoning over memorisation, helping learners see how economic outcomes emerge from human behaviour and institutional choices.
As lessons advance, students analyse inflation, unemployment, fiscal policy, monetary systems, and international trade with increasing confidence. I guide learners through diagrams, real-world examples, and structured problem solving that builds analytical clarity. Discussion plays an important role, allowing students to question assumptions, test ideas, and refine their understanding. This method strengthens both academic performance and critical thinking.
Economics lessons also develop perspective, judgement, and structured reasoning. Students learn to interpret data, evaluate arguments, and understand the consequences of policy decisions. Many gain confidence in discussing economic issues clearly and thoughtfully. My goal is to help learners approach economics as a practical tool for understanding the world and making informed decisions.
