About Pooja
My interest in Economics began with a desire to understand how decisions—both small and large—shape the world around us. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.A in Economic Studies, where I discovered how deeply economic principles influence society, markets, and policy outcomes. Over the past 9 years, I’ve helped students grow more confident by explaining ideas with patience, clarity, and relatable examples. I teach with warmth and steady encouragement. I understand that Economics can feel abstract at first, so I focus on breaking complex ideas into simple, meaningful parts. I enjoy helping learners strengthen their reasoning, explore ideas freely, and build confidence in expressing their thoughts. My lessons emphasize understanding rather than memorizing, so students develop long-lasting skills. Outside teaching, I follow global economic trends, study policy research, and explore the economic impacts of technological changes. These interests allow me to bring fresh, relevant insights into lessons. Watching students develop clarity, curiosity, and analytical confidence makes teaching Economics deeply rewarding.

Economics becomes easier to understand when concepts are linked to everyday decisions and real global events. My lessons guide students through microeconomics, macroeconomics, market systems, consumer behavior, policy evaluation, and international trade with calm explanations that strengthen both clarity and confidence. I focus on helping learners understand why economic outcomes occur and how individual choices interact with broader economic forces. Lessons adapt to all levels of experience. Beginners receive supportive instruction in basic ideas such as opportunity cost, incentives, resource allocation, demand and supply, and the role of markets. Intermediate students explore cost structures, taxation, market failures, national income, inflation, and unemployment. Advanced learners build strong analytical writing skills, evaluate policies, interpret data, and prepare confidently for exams. Economics teaches valuable life skills: reasoning, critical thinking, financial awareness, and the ability to interpret world events thoughtfully.
